BlueSky Nail Academy runs professional nail artistry training courses in Mumbai — one of the most competitive cities in India for beauty education advertising. High CPCs, multiple national chains bidding for the same keywords, and students who compare three or four options before enquiring.
When we took over the account, the campaigns were running but without the architecture that makes them efficient. No campaign segmentation — all courses lumped into one campaign, all budgets pooled. No call tracking — so every phone enquiry was invisible to the reporting system. No A/B testing of ad creatives. No landing page optimisation. Money was going in; clarity on what was coming out was absent.

▌ What We Actually Solved — The Real Story
The transformative change was attribution. Before call tracking, the academy was making spend decisions based on clicks and form submissions — a very incomplete picture. Many of their students called rather than filled out a form. By installing call tracking, we suddenly had a complete conversion picture.
What we found: some keywords that looked expensive by CPC were actually the most efficient on a cost-per-enquiry basis. Others that looked cheap were generating low-quality clicks with no conversions. Budget was reallocated accordingly.
The February result — 23 conversions at ₹11,370 — was the clearest evidence that the optimisation was working. The lowest spend month produced the second-highest conversion volume.
